Friends of the Hunt family brought their creative energy to Queen Elizabeth Park on Wednesday to slap some paint on materials that will be used in the renovation of the family?s home during the first-ever collaboration between the Revelstoke Community Housing Society and Habitat for Humanity ? Kelowna.
This wasn?t a big affair and had a refreshingly small-town feel to it. There were plenty of kids in attendance and they really enjoyed painting designs, cartoons and happy messages on the plywood sheets. Even adults did a little painting, too.
